Terms of Service

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

Overview

By placing a custom build order or purchasing products from Mothership Vans, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms govern the relationship between you ("Customer") and Mothership Vans ("Company").

Custom Van Builds

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your build slot. This secures your place in our production queue.

  • Payment Schedule: Payments are milestone-based (e.g., Deposit, Chassis Acquisition, Build Start, Final Delivery). Failure to meet a payment milestone may result in production delays or forfeiture of your slot.

  • Chassis Procurement: If Mothership Vans acquires the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis on your behalf, title transfer occurs only upon full payment of the chassis cost.

  • Change Orders: Changes to the build specifications after the "Design Lock" date may incur additional fees and extend the delivery timeline.

Warranty & Support

  • Mothership Warranty: We provide a 1-Year Craftsmanship Warranty covering our installation work (cabinetry, electrical integration, plumbing).

  • Component Warranties: Individual components (e.g., Mercedes chassis, Battle Born Batteries, Dometic A/C) are covered by their respective manufacturers’ warranties. We facilitate the warranty process but are not liable for manufacturing defects in third-party hardware.

  • Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by off-road accidents, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

Liability & Safety

  • Off-Road Use: Mothership Vans are engineered for adventure, but off-road driving carries inherent risks. You acknowledge that you operate the vehicle at your own risk. Mothership Vans is not liable for accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage occurring during off-road operation.

  • Weight Limits: It is the owner's responsibility to adhere to the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the chassis. Overloading the vehicle may void warranties and compromise safety.

Merchandise (Gear)

  • Production: Apparel and accessories are made-to-order by third-party fulfillment partners.

  • Returns: As items are printed on demand, we do not accept returns for sizing issues or buyer's remorse. We will replace items that arrive damaged or defective.
